Justin Suzuki, a local RPG community leader and president of Gamers Giving waxes poetic on his blog about the local con scene. The Denver, Colorado gaming community is going through a period of evolution right now. The Denver Gamers Association which runs two gaming conventions, Genghis Con and TactiCon, have handed control and ownership of said events over to another organization. As of right now this new group has had some issues answering some basic questions about what the future holds for these events. All that is known is the idea seems grand, and in my opinion, is forgetting the most basic elements of what makes a convention successful….
